A couple years ago Jan & Marty of Joe Pye Weed's Gartden sent me a small division of Darrel Probst's Iris henryi CPC3.5.01.3#8. They have since introduced it under the registered name 'Mini Treasure'. Normally that species would have bloomed 5 months ago in my climate, but for some reason produced its first bloom for me now. I'm attaching a photo. As they describe in their catalog, it is a deeper lavender that the other clones Darrel collected. Ken Walker |
