I searched I. Aphylla Werckmeister and the only
place that offered it for sale or gave a
description was:

Their description was:

'$8 I. aphylla ‘Werckmeister’ Very dark
red-purple. From Varner'

It would be better to have several sites and
descriptions to compare.

This plant has a very blue color for an I.
aphylla, and it blooms above it's foliage. It
looks like it would be a good garden plant and
worth growing whether it's named correctly or
not. I'd trade you something for it next time
you divide it.
