Chuck et al, ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ I have also seen setosas with dark stems, and had one memorable sino-siberian with dark stems (no longer among the living). ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ Ken From: iris-species@yahoogroups.com [mailto:iris-species@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Chuck Chapman Actually, there are a number of species that can have dark stem. the Robustas get their dark stem from I. virginica. I. virginica shrevii has a very dark stem. I can only vaguly remember some others but think I can remember seeing some siberian cultivars with dark stems. I have a pseudacorous with a dark stem. It was an unregistered cultivar and I sold it as "Dark Stem" -noting that it was an unregistered clone. -----Original Message-----
