Not only do the leaves and plant vary, but colors of the same iris can vary quite a lot depending on the location of the sun in relation to the flowers and other conditions. I have had pictures of the same iris vary wildly in color depending on the daylight involved and sun or shade.        Joan cooper    Minnesota

Hopefully now with the AIS Iris wiki there will be all sorts of pictures, flowers, leaves, stems, seed pods. You're right. Currently they are not often seen in pictures.
