Morning all.
Yesterday, I was actually checking the SIGNA photos
for seeds and rhizomes of a few iris I have, which is how it hit me that
possibly I perrieri had bloomed and I hadn't realized it. Still,
better late than never.
I also found a photo of I bloudowii seeds on SIGNA,
and mine do look like the site picture. There's also a photo of I milesii
rhizomes, so in spring, I think I'll unpot one of my two and check. It was
sent to me by a friend in the North West Territories. He grew it from seed
in his greenhouse, but it never bloomed for him. In 4 years, it hasn't
bloomed for me either, but this winter I have it sitting near a window, getting
lots of light.
There must be enough light there, as I have a
potted AB Oyez which just finally started to send up an increase.
yesss
I've been making notes as I checked both seeds and
iris that I have, so the relationships are making better sense, thanks to both
this forum and the SIGNA site, so I thank you all.

I add them to the online version of the Seed Ex list, turning it into a mini
color catalog than just a list. I only got three respondents this year
though. On Mon, Dec 27, 2010 at 8:44 AM, Sean A. Zera <z*@umich.edu>
