      I successfully grow the one that was in the picture here in Dunnellon, FL.  I am about 22 miles southwest of Ocala.  But, I was thinking of sharing some with a gal in Stuart, FL which is well south of me and over on the east coast.  Here, the one I have has a dormant period in early fall, and starts regrowth in the late fall or early winter. 
     I have frequent freezes in winter, and the gal in Stuart encounters a freeze only rarely.  It may be worth letting her try some.
