Yep, winter is definitely winding down here also. Had to work late
Friday and got home just before dark, there were two forms of I.
reticulata open. A dozen flowers today and record high temps
forecasted this week so there will be many more open soon. A third
species of crocus also began blooming today. Now I need to get
serious about garden clean-up so you won't see all the dead weeds
when I start sending photos to the group.
A few I. magnificas were burnt by the blast of cold last week and
may not flower, may not recover at all. Others just now erupting from
their slumber. We sure could use some moisture, the ground is very
dry, dusty in spots.
