The tree will survive though. It wasn’t all
the way bloomed out and I am hoping some of the buds survive. Notice the
temperatures I put on the post to Alice. The coldest I have seen here
since coming in fall 1997 was –12 C, and that happened three or four
times. Colder temperatures have occurred such as reports of –19 C in
1977.
