Rod,
my seeds made it into Australia with no problems. All quarantine here needs is a way to match the seed pack numbers to a species name. Preferably a printed sheet would accompany the order but a link to the seedlist page should suffice. If the member in question has trouble getting help from their attending quarantine officer, they should talk to the supervisor instead. If hybrid seed is in the order, the parentage will have to be detailed down to species level. I don't import seed of complex hybrids for this reason. Have any of our international members had problems with your seeds getting through your country's plant import inspections? I have one person in AU whose seeds have been held up for incomplete labeling. Rod |
