Hi Mark,

Very interesting pattern. I have no idea but it's probably not a threat to the plant. I get a lot of leaf damage from grasshoppers every summer.

Does anyone know what did this? It almost looks like Iris Borer
damage, but borers are not 'supposed' to exist this far south, and the plant
is Neomarica. The fans appear healthy.
