Re: Virtual Iris Show

Species can be entered using only their botanical name. When there are cultivar names those can be included also. And seedlings of unnamed crosses can be entered in the seedling section of their  appropriate group. for example Two Moraea species crossed can be entered in the seedling section of the Irid group.

Do species have to be named cultivars or numbered seedlings to be entered?

Species enthusiasts!  It will not be long before Reticulates and Junos will be showing off. I would like to invite you to exhibit in our first International Virtual Iris Show. Although it is for Iris we also include Irids also so think Crocus, Ferraria, Moraea, also. Does anyone have Dietes bloomimg? The whole show is featured for 6 months on the Iris Encyclopedia then archived there. We presently get about 6-7 million page views each year so it is relatively widely seen. There is a special section for seedling Hybrids as well as the parents. I would love to see you plants entered.   Bob Pries
