Maturity is measured as number of mature leaves. You may need to count 'leaf rings' on rhizome to get total. Usually in 10-15 leaves.

Bud set temperature seems to be in range of 15-21C minimum temperature for 5-6 days in a row.

Vernalization should be around 720 chill hours. Some cultivars are as low as 460.
