humidity for indoor seedlings

I've been starting my iris seedlings indoors over winter the last few
years. Last month I was away on vacation for 2 weeks and didn't have
anyone to water my plants, so I bagged everything in clear plastic
hoping that the humidity would keep them alive but probably in stasis
while I was gone.

Stasis?! What was *I* thinking. They grew like weeds with the extra
humidity. So now I'm a bit troubled because they've outgrown their
bags... but I want to keep the seedlings as happy as I can. I guess the
solution is to find bigger bags. I guess this is a good problem to have
but really I never would have thought Irises would grow so mad with
extra humidity. Some of them are arilbreds!

So strange...
