Previous years leftovewr seeds at Xchange

I ordered several packages in December. I received VERY generous packets for literally pennies.

These seeds are the first to germinate outside. I don't know why, but usually my fall planted seeds

come up mid-April. My own crosses, and the xchange seeds started coming up mid-February.

I am not worried, some seeds germinated in the fall, and survived snowstorms of 14 inches.

Dykes and Rodienko said Iris seeds have remained dormant and vital for at least 15-18

years. I think the germination inhibitors gradually leach out, and Mother Nature tells these

older seeds, you better germinate quick! This may be your last chance!

In conclusion, don't hesitate to buy older seeds, and support the society by buying and sending

in seeds for the xchange.
