Re: nail clippers and germination

I've been having some success with embryo culture of aril iris. I have a less problem with mold and bacteria than I used to. I think the most important change I made was to mop the floor, rinse with a dilute bleach solution, close the kitchen, and run a hepa air filter for a while before I start. I'm a poor house keeper but I do try to clean up the rest of the kitchen, in general, beforehand. I've also been using "procedural masks" from the drug store and usually wear a hat.

That will be next for me, though when I think of how frequently fruit
goes mouldy in my kitchen, maybe I don't have a sterile enough
environment for it.
