Re: digital SIGNA bulletin?

Anita,

a very nice production!  I like the layout.  The type is large enough to read easily, although I prefer a sans serif, such as Verdana.  This is another advantage of an electronic document: one can enlarge it in the screen to a readable size!  I hate to admit it, but my eyes are going and I am certainly not alone >:o .

OK, everyone, this gives a good example of what is possible and it is only a starting point!  The technology is racing foreward.  It is almost daunting.  For me, it took less than 10 secs. to download, but I do have DSL.  Can anyone try it with dial-up for a comparison?

I have been putting my Newletter for region 4 up on the region 4 site for quite a while so that I can print in black and White and have full color for those that want it.  It can be downloaded and printed or kept in a file.  Using CutePDF and MS Publisher I can compress the photographs with little deterioration and a publisher file of 10 - 34MB becomes a PDF of 1.7 - 2.8 MB.

Here is a link to Decembers  http://www.irisregion4.com/publications/DEC09comp.pdf

I hope this helps
