Note, please, that I reversed digits in the page numbers in my previous post. The actual page numbers are 4104, and 4105, and the entries involved are those of the 1929 and 1939 Check Lists. Reading early Check Lists is a chore for the uninitiated-- and the intitiated!--and the verbatim reproduction of this data always presents unique challenges for everyone. AMW

Also, in the course of adding the illustrations to my piece on 'Amas', the formatting of some check list entries (pp.4014, 4015) was impacted. If someone unfamiliar with the orginal source material is having trouble following this, feel free to drop me a note and I will send along a copy of that part of the manuscript.

Hi all,
I hope by now all of you SIGNA members have received your newsletters and have placed your seed orders.
There are a couple of errors in the newsletter. One, of all places, is on the cover! The R-P medal winner should be 'Ally Oops'. That error is repeated on 4086. Also on that page, the AIS convention is in Victoria, BC. Please let us know of other errors you might find.
For our e-members: The PDF version also had some font problems. We'll try to get that worked out before next time. Contact me if you had problems downloading the pdf or didn't get the newsletter at all.
Happy New Year!
Rodney
