Sorry Jim! Since the article was a reprint, I didn't see a need to correct the text of the article. I didn't think the inclusion of I. lactea detracted from an excellent article. I did include a note at the end, following Roy Davidson's style from earlier days of clarifying such points.
There WAS a serious omission from the newsletter, and that was Jim's excellent photos that were to accompany the article. They WILL be included in the summer newsletter. Also in that issue you'll see the photos for Todd Boland's article. Those of you that are signed up for the electronic newsletter can view both sets of photos in the photos section of the SIGNA_news group on Yahoo! Jim, If you don't mind I'll post them on the iris-species group as well.
My apologies to all! There was a last minute rush to get the Winter issue ready so that the seed exchange could go out on time. We're not waiting untill the last minute this time. The summer issue is already in the works and I promise there will be more proofing! I can't promise there won't be any mistakes. :)

To all of you who may have read my article I hope you can forgive me for mistakenly putting Iris lactea in the Spuria group. I misread a description of this Iris which lead to such a result. I was hoping someone would take some editing license with the article.
