I had a prolif on an iris this year. Posted in Iris Lovers, I believe.

It is a vegetative increase, so genetically identical to parent, as
any other vegetative increase.

Will root same as with daylillies.

When a Daylily does this, the proliferation can be rooted and will
start another plant identical to the mother plant. Would that work in
Iris albicans, which is what this is on?
