Interesting. I did some research on my own and found that only one of it's 24 Registered descendants reblooms as reported by the RIS, 'Great White Hope' . I'll also note that 'Jeri', the other parent of 'Great White Hope' also has no Registered descendants that have been reported to rebloom and does not rebloom itself.
All that doesn't really mean anything conclusive. Rebloom in LA's is a less common occurance but potential/ability to has increased over time with new cultivars. As in TB's it takes the right combination of genes, gene variants, climate and environment to allow a fan to rebloom. There is also no guarantee that a strong reloomer will produce reblooming children as well as some weak rebloomers produce children with stronger triggers. -----Original Message----- |
