hardy Californicae

 

I may have finally found a microclimate in my yard that PCNs like (or some good genetics). Here's an Iris ×noti (chrysophylla × tenax) seedling today, still evergreen after -10°F with no snow this winter and -20°F with snow last winter. It also remained evergreen all summer.
