Thanks, Bill.  I think these oncos are truly pieces of art.  I really wish we could grow them here as they are so beautiful, but our winters are just too cold here in Saskatchewan to have them survive the winters.  I do wonder if any hybrids which display the characteristics of the oncos would be hardy enough to survive here.  Actually I don’t know if there are that many hybrids available.

This might interest you.
Here is a picture from a Russian website of what they classify as onco 
species " zuvandicus".
And a pic of what I grew from seed from Sergey Bankatov of acutiloba x 
choschab ( medwedewii in Russia)..
To me this is proof that zuvandicus is a natural hybrid.
