The very last onco


 

The very last of the oncos  Iris acutiloba ssp.lineolata on the 2nd of Jan. in New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere.

It just goes to show that you can grow and show oncos al the year round.

This might interest you.
Here is a picture from a Russian website of what they classify as onco
species " zuvandicus".
And a pic of what I grew from seed from Sergey Bankatov of acutiloba x
choschab ( medwedewii in Russia).
To me this is proof that zuvandicus is a natural hybrid.
