This pervades the gamut of all fields While most fossils and minerals are found by amateurs, we are held in disdain by the professionals. Very willing to accept donated specimens and money there is no cooperation between the amateur and the professional. If anything it is an uneasy truce.

I have yet to hear from the county park naturalist!
