Re: Re: *Iris germanica* SIGNA lot C035

Hi Neil and all other there has been taking part of this discussion.

As far as I can remember is the I. Germanica clone Harald has, from my garden.  I have originally got the clone from The Universityes Botanical Garden, Copenhagen, where one of the gardeners - Budde Christensen - have collected this plant wild. The plant is collected Near Monodendri in NW Greece. It has not been setting seed for me this year, although there was many bloom stalks, I expect it was because may was very cold, when they were in bloom.

Thanks, Ken.  Harald Mathes is a source from whom I would expect
reliable and quality material.  I'm sure I still have the 2000 list,
but cannot lay my hands on it for the present.  I appreciate the
information.

I'd like to build up a collection of bearded species materials, but
have very limited room.  I have several clones, mostly diploid, of
species and first generation hybrids on hand, to which I'll be adding
as time goes on.  I'd like to have *trojana* again and some of the
species not used or little used in the ancestries of our modern
cultivars.
