Yes, some of us have in the throes of iris bloom in July and not repeat bloom or rebloom. :-) 

This seedling is not mine but is one from the late Currier McEwen. The pod parent is an introduced JI, 'Katy Mendez' (Currer's real-life granddaughter) and various seedling crosses to make the pollen cross. I just know that the description of the seedlingn designation includes the word 'species'.
