Tigridia pavonia

After years of not seeing it bloom, I found Tigridia pavonia blooming in
my garden today. It probably blooms every year, but I haven't looked
for it or noticed it for years.

I grow it outdoors, essentially unprotected year round. It's in a
flower bed against the south side of my house, so it stays just warm
enough, apparently, to survive and return each year. I've grown it in
this manner for about 10 years.
