If Oron Petri's photo had been taken
under sunny conditions, I think it would look similar some of
Rafael Diez Dominguez's pictures in the SIGNA database. There does
seem to be some distinct variation for this species. My plant was
grown from J&J Archibald seed collected in Cuenca, Spain at
1200m. It will be interesting if there is much variation in that
seed lot. I have one more plant to bloom this year (hopefully not
while I'm in Vermont for a long weekend over the 10th) and quite a
few other seedlings that should bloom in subsequent years.
