Is the flower unusually large for domestica (which would also imply tetraploidy)? Sort of hard to tell from the angle of the photo. How does it stand up to wind? I don’t have it YET! I’ve seen TBs near 5 ft and Spurias can reach 6 ft where happiest. This domestica is growing in northern Georgia, USA. Last year it was shoulder height but taller this year. The grower doesn’t think the flowers are any larger than typical. It has never needed help in remaining upright. I am hoping to get both plant and seeds, fingers crossed. And of course 'Gigantica’ is my made up name, it isn’t registered. Jim Jim Murrain 8871 NW Brostrom Rd Kansas City, Missouri 64152-2711 USA Zone 6a |
