Your point was well made and did not sail over my head as points sometimes do. I too detest the destruction of native plants. I often see native azaleas destroyed by timber cuttin'. I deny neither their right to cut timber nor my right to salvage them. Here I try to observe/discover their population pockets and then watch the timber grow until near harvest time.
As a point in passin', Southerners are so lazy watchin' timber grow is considered an excitin' pastime.
