Will,  I have almost all my irises planting in high raised beds.. out 
of the hundreds of irises I grow, I think these albicans and 5 of the 
arilbreds are the only 'new' ones I lost this year. I have 
successfully 1/4 Arilbreds before in this zone - different cultivars.
