I. mzchetica again

A seedling I. mzchetica from the SIGNA exchange and the only one to germinate for me.

I caught this just after it had opened and before the form had flattened out a bit. Unlike the BC mzchetica, this one is quite tall with a very straight stem and 3 branches plus the terminal buds. The color lightens to a pale cream yellow.

Everyone who was kind enough to supply me with starts of maackii also seemed to be raising mzchetica. It seemed natural that while I was planning to take a closer look at the maackii group, I'd add these as a side study. This is very preliminary, but chromatagrams have surprised me where mzchetica is concerned. Of the 4 samples tested so far, all are radically different from pseudacorus and maackii.
