variegated pseudacorus


This variegated pseudacorus is less vigorous than the
non-variegated clumps. Pseudacorus irises grow as vigorously as
Setosas and Versicolors on high ground here in zone 3, NW Ontario.
In wet years on puddled ground these species didn't grow more
vigorously than on high ground. It's just that they were able to
tolerate the periods of flooding. None of them appear to have
'menacing' vigor here.
