Sisyrinchium macrocarpum

I see I've been missing a lot of great photos. I just got back
from almost two weeks in Colorado. Visited friends at the world
famous Denver Botanical Garden, they continue to amaze with new
plants. I was blown away by a hardy yellow flowered sisyrinchium. It
only gets 8 to 10 inches tall and blooms madly with large 3/4 -1 inch
flowers. I was directed to a wonderful nursery, Harlequin's Gardens
in Boulder http://www.harlequinsgardens.com/Harlequin.php where I was
able to acquire a couple of plants. Now to see how they do in Kansas
City.
