Ally Oops

Forwarded with permission of Gerry Snyder, orginally posted on Yahoo
group 'Iris photos'.
I also added a link and pic from Borglum's.

This is the first time I've even heard about this species x iris. I
am quite amazed as it really does look like a siberian times a
pseudacorus.
I thought this was cool enough to share with everyone that does not
wade through all the TB's on iris photos.

One of my favorites in Portland looked good in all the gardens that had
beardless guests. Ally Oops is an inter-species hybrid with a Siberian
pod parent. The pollen parent is not known for certain, but the pod
parent was growing next to I. pseudacorus, and Ally Oops has a lot of
yellow.

Anyhow, here it is.
