        It does look like an I sibirica, but there are hybrids with sanguinea which can look very much like this too.  If it's a pure sibirica, the pod will be about three times as long as it is wide; if it's a hybrid, more like two to one.  The flower would likely be a little larger, too.
         A few years ago, I made the cross Snow Prince X Rikugi Sakura and got flowers almost exactly like your photo.
