white spuria yellow margins

Hi all,
I got a plant with flowers just about identical to this from the
SIGNA exchange 5 or 6 years back, maybe a little longer. The seed was
received as graminea, I think, and my best guess as to what it was, was
carthalinea or a hyb. But then I don't really know anything about
spurias. I may still have it but my garden is a weedy mess due to my
ongoing move to a new property.
Re: kerneriana, I bought a couple of divisions of this plant from
Ellen Hornig's nursery, Seneca Hills Perennials. Unfortunately she has
had to withdraw from the retail nursery biz, but perhaps she has a few
of these left. She is in USDA zone 6, next to Lake Ontario, with many
feet of snow cover in winter. My location in Central NY is zone 5, not
always with snow cover. I have had it three years I think, no bloom yet
but good healthy foliage up to maybe 15". I suspect the lack of
flowering has more to do with competition with other nearby plants than
outright refusal to bloom in this region. I will have to move it later
this summer. If I do eventually get seed it will go straight into the
exchange.
