Hello Ellen,
I keep going back to look at your photo. That sure is a
beautiful Iris. I have tried growing it from seed, but have not had any
success - old seed perhaps? Anyway, thanks for posting the
photo.

This is a little Spuria species -Iris graminea- in my garden in
2007....it is a faithful and long-lasting interesting Spuria species. Does well
in cold and damp New England. It bloom down in the stupendous foliage and is
very fragrant....
