Any suggestions re who it might be?  Do you need different pictures?
 
The lady just sent me flower measurents, plus kindly offered to send me a piece of it.
 
Each Standard is roughly 1 1/2"long by 1/2" wide
Each crest is 1"long by 1/4" wide
Each Fall is 2" long by 1/2" wide

The width of the whole flower is 3"

Certainly not graminea.

Proably not I. graminea var. pseudocyperus either.

These photos are from a lady in central Saskatchewan, Canada.  Her Mother gave her this iris last year; we're assuming she bought it at a garden nursery.  It's thriving and increasing well.
 
The overall plant is 3 ft tall, and the flower has no scent.
 
Could it possibly be I graminea var. pseudocyperus?
