Could you give a try on identifying these Chuck.  The first I thought might be Iris spuria var. spuria and the next I. carthaliniae??  Both are relatively tall with the bluer one slightly taller with the flowers somewhat at or near the top of the leaves.  I can see that Identifying some of these is a real challenge.

Certainly not graminea.

Proably not I. graminea var. pseudocyperus either.

These photos are from a lady in central Saskatchewan, Canada.  Her Mother gave her this iris last year; we're assuming she bought it at a garden nursery.  It's thriving and increasing well.
 
The overall plant is 3 ft tall, and the flower has no scent.
 
Could it possibly be I graminea var. pseudocyperus?
