Leaves  much smaller in proportion to flower stalk then what we get with Dalmatica.

At the risk of beating a subject to death (but I think this a very interesting subject).
I've been looking for photos of Iris pallida in habitat on the internet, and haven't been having much luck yet.  However, the following fair photo is at Wikipedia, and shows plants on what appears to be limestone in habitat in Dalmatia (in the country of Montenegro).
I haven't found much information on this name "pseudopallida" and remember nothing about it.  I expect that it is an absolute synonym of I. pallida.  Anyway, the plants in the photo don't look all that different from 'Dalmatica', 'Odoratissima', the two variegated cultivars, etc.  (though admittedly not the greatest photo; some close ups and some shots of open flowers would be nice).
