Rod, I hate to admit that the only pictures I took were at Butchart Gardens.  It got to be too cumbersome, carrying around my camera all day for 2 days in a row, especially after I came down w a sinus cold the day after we arrived.  I still have it, sigh.
 
Another lady from our CWIS iris group in Manitoba took pictures of all the iris, so hopefully she'll post hers on Facebook soon and send out a link.
 
I didn't see too many species iris, at least in the gardens I visited.  I greatly admired Banner for Iona though, and a pseudacorus someone said was Roy Davidson, but I think it was Phil Edinger.  My friend w the camera was nowhere to be found, darn.

My only complaint was that, in general, the plants weren't labeled well. It was nice to see some iris and other irids in bloom now that my season is over. Glad you enjoyed Victoria. Please post any species photos you may have taken.

What lovely photos you've been sending, Rod!  Sounds like this botanical garden would be a great place to visit.
 
I have so many iris blooming, and so much weeding to catch up on, I haven't posted many pix at all since I returned from Victoria.  It was sure nice to meet Will in person, and get re-acquainted w Chuck.  Alas, I didn't get to meet everyone who was on my "wishlist".
