We're always trying something that doesn't like our climate, eh. I'd sure like to be able to grow Louisiana's and PCN's, but it's not to be.
However, thanks to Chuck, I was able to try I bucharica last fall, which actually survived and bloomed this year! I really like having it bloom again. This is the only Bearded Iris I have been able to grow here.
