Maybe you should.
I find it interesting and I know weather can affect the bloosom season in my case is funny because this iris, Mendocino Banner was in bloom in March and now three months later again, actually I got alot flowers more than the first time.
This morning my neigbour who I gave away some irises to, showed me one of her douglisina irises in bloom, but just with three flowers.

I was so excited! I hybridized it, and moved it to my garden. Since then, it has bloomed twice - in about ten years! Maybe I should move it back to the farm.
