Dennis, I assume we can successfully grow decora in the Midwest. Then again, I tend to assume *everything* will grow here, so...

I would never have guessed that decora blooms after tridentata. All the more reason for me to get caught up on germinating seeds!

Iris decora comes up late and blooms into June. Iris tridentata is finishing up. I'm still waiting for "Pixie Won" buds to open. It will be the last until the Vesper Iris bloom later in the summer.

I am forever jealous of the irises you can grow in your climate, Ken! I'm surprised you still have things blooming this late in the year. That's not normal, is it?
