red versicolor [1 Attachment]

I visited my old garden where I used to live. It hasn't been cultivated
for 8 years. Most Iris versicolor seedlings from SIGNA exchange seed I
had growing there disappeared within a few years.

This red flowered plant had formed a complete ring shaped clump around
where it had grown and was increasing. It's always amazing to see a few
flowers with such an unusual color. The local wild versicolors have a
limited range of color from pale blue, to blue, to pale purple-blue.
