A couple years ago I sent in a photo of I. sanguinea I grew from Signa
seed exchange seed. A 12' row of 2nd year bee pod seedlings from that
clump has a few plants blooming. The faded blue flower is a much lighter
shade of blue than its podmom. The other flowers in this row had a color
and form more like the photo with 2 flowers.
