Reticulatas

The reticulata are just now opening to their fullest. For the past ten days the blooms have been up but not open. One lone danfordiae has a bloom but it is not fully opened It has been a cold and dank winter. Very significant upheaval of the bearded iris. Minimal snow cover, of course, as my son-in-law gave me the snow blower when they moved to Florida.

How far can spring be behind at this rate?
