Re: I. lutescens search

Dave

I. Lutescens grow wild here french Riviera. By the way the commonest color is purple withe every shade between purple, redish purple, bluish tints and creamy tints from not strong yellow to near white.

Actually I do grow a few wild collected plants and can share them or seeds if it is easier with customs.

Friendly yours.

I don't often see I. lutescens available for sail, and the few I see are not often yellow.  I'm looking for plants of any color, best would be with wild provenance data, but not necessary.

I'm curious about reproducing I. x germanica, and believe that 40 chromosome species (most likely I. lutescens, which is most common and widespread).  However, I'm also curious, assuming I can reproduce it, if I can make yellow ones.

Anyone have any ideas of some good sources for assorted clones of the species?
