The first bloom of Iris albicans opened today.
I never even saw the stalk comin'.
Southerner's are so slow... and happy!
Here an albicans bloom means the biggist bass will be goin' into a feedin' frenzy prior to bedding. They wont hit top water baits so good yet. That starts with redbud blooms and gets better with the bloom of the dogwoods. But right now spinners, plastic worms, and artificial crawfish will shore nuff bring 'em home.
